On Saturday, the 6th of December at 14:00, we will host an info talk with a representative from ‘Tameio’, focusing on the activities and work of the collective and raising awareness about state repression more generally.
‘Tameio’, the Solidarity Fund for Imprisoned and Persecuted Revolutionaries in Greece, is a nationwide structure that currently consists of two separate open assemblies, one in Athens and one in Thessaloniki. Other cities in Greece have also participated in the past.
The main objective of the structure is to ensure a decent standard of living for imprisoned comrades through an initiative that elevates the material dimension of solidarity to a political level i.e., beyond the support of family members and close friends/partners.
The structure’s resources come solely from the solidarity of our political spaces (in Greece and abroad).
